Pros and cons of Dynacare - Net Check In app for iPhone and iPad

Dynacare - Net Check In app good for

Transforming an antiquated system of pulling tags into something this simple is absolutely great. Albeit generational lag exists making the two systems absolutely fundamental in the current health care system. For those that are tech savvy this is wonderful.
I love this app, knowing that I can check-in on my way to the lab to have my blood taken saves so much time. And the lab girls are so great too! :)
Seems like a great app, but is currently limited to Saskatoon.
Ive used this app personally and for work! Saves me so much time and hassle! Recommend this app to everyone!

Some bad moments

This app is useless. I checked in here at 100 Humber College Blvd Gamma lab and see my name first on the waitlist of the lab but here I am sitting while all the people behind on the list behind me get in before me. Clearly the staff are ignoring the fact that I checked in early and I following the line. Good idea but useless if staff are going to just if ignore it and go by line up.
Nice idea but it does not work. Lots of documentation on the website and on the voice mail. Unfortunately the app does not do more then providing a location and phone number. Would not recommend this app.
The app clearly worked. I checked in on the phone app, got to the lab and my name was next in line in the displayed list... I let them know I was there and sat down... Then people after me on the list were called in ahead of me. So, the app works, but the staff ignored the app/list and just did their own thing anyway. Waste of money to develop an app if you dont use it in practice. I will chose a different company for lab tests in the future.
Message for the developers - guys you should hire a good usability expert to access your app! Its useless - no value at all. App should be intuitive! Test yours!
